Enter the Cafe Racer.

Cafe Racers are older motorcycles from the 60's & 70's that Britian's young rebellious rock and roll culture created. The bikes represent individualism and breaking from the norm. They were fast and personalized, a bike of this sort was to travel between transport cafes along the motorways.
One goal of the bike was to be able to do 100mph (called simply "the ton"). Riders would leave from a cafe, race to a predetermined point and back to the cafe before a single song could play on the jukebox, this was called record-racing.

Recently I've become very interested in the cafe racer culture and the custom bikes.
Here are some pics I've collected of the net displaying proper cafe racer style.
Most of the bikes are Honda Cb750's, they make for a great platform.
