Windowless..... Window?

What they say.
"Basements are dark, dank places that require at least some light fixture for you to find your way around. Thankfully, we have a Fake Window that utilizes electroluminescent sheets as its light source, allowing you to adjust the intensity of the light by manipulating the shades. It surely looks like a nifty idea to have in your home (assuming you have a basement to begin with), and this would also work well with cramped store rooms or even the attic."

What I say.
This friggen sweet. I'd love to get one for the eastern wing of my house.
Anyways I thought you guys would like this.

Hooked on Music.

I've been listening to these guys for a while.
I have a strong feeling that I should travel town to town spreading the news, the news of these great tunes!
It's refreshing to hear truly talented musicians that have a unique sound these days.
Here's a summary of both bands.

Dear & The Headlights are a group of five talented guys from Phoenix, Arizona. Consisting of: Ian Metzger - vocals, Guitar. Robert Cissell - Guitar, Keys. PJ Waxman - Guitar. Chuckie Duff - Bass. Mark Kulvinskas - drums.
They are signed with the popular indie label, Equal Vision Records. Their first album, Small Steps, Heavy Hooves was a huge successes, I personally left the CD in my car for at least a month straight. Their second album, Drunk Like Bible Times, has the same intensity of emotion as the former album.
Here's one of their hit songs that got me hooked.

The Honorary Title is another talented indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York.
Jarrod Gorbel – lead vocals, guitar. Adam Boyd – drums, vocals. Mike Schey - guitar. Nate Harold - bass. Dustin Dobernig - keyboard
The overall tone of the music seems heavily country, folk, and melodic inspired. A great combination that sets them in a class of there own. The song writing is diverse, being very interpretive to being almost story like. Jarrod can really sing, the added country twang of guitars make me a fan. They released their first album in 2004, Anything Else But the Truth. Hope you give them a listen.

Monster's Euro Resealable Can.

What They say.
"While in Europe last summer at the Spanish Moto GP, we saw a cool re-sealable can and knew it would be perfect for Monster. The can company said, “only available in Europe.” We said, “B.S., we gotta have it!”
Next stop Amsterdam, Holland and specialty plant to fill the funky can with our new super premium Monster Import formula. Monster Import has a clean, smooth Euro-flavor, less calories, but still gets you off as good as the original.
If you can open and close the can with one hand you probably dated a lot when you were younger."

What I say.
I don't wanna bore you with useless dribble, so...
It has a plastic cap that twists open and closed, works like a charm.
Now you can enjoy your drink... at one time, close it... and enjoy it later.
Pretty cool, It has a lighter "imported" taste than the original but still has that monster taste.

Enter the Cafe Racer.

Cafe Racers are older motorcycles from the 60's & 70's that Britian's young rebellious rock and roll culture created. The bikes represent individualism and breaking from the norm. They were fast and personalized, a bike of this sort was to travel between transport cafes along the motorways.
One goal of the bike was to be able to do 100mph (called simply "the ton"). Riders would leave from a cafe, race to a predetermined point and back to the cafe before a single song could play on the jukebox, this was called record-racing.

Recently I've become very interested in the cafe racer culture and the custom bikes.
Here are some pics I've collected of the net displaying proper cafe racer style.
Most of the bikes are Honda Cb750's, they make for a great platform.

WANT! Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

In ways big and small, Mac OS X Snow Leopard makes your Mac faster, more reliable, and easier to use.

Refined, not reinvented.

Mac OS X is renowned for its simplicity, its reliability, and its ease of use. So when it came to designing Snow Leopard, Apple engineers had a single goal: to make a great thing even better. They searched for areas to refine, further simplify, and speed up — from little things like ejecting external drives to big things like installing the OS. In many cases, they elevated great to amazing. Here are just a few examples of how your Mac experience was fine-tuned.

New look, new features for Exposé and Stacks.

Exposé is refined and more convenient. It’s now integrated in the Dock, so you can just click and hold an application icon in the Dock and all the windows for that application will unshuffle so you can quickly change to another one. Exposé also has a whole new look. Windows are displayed in an organized grid, making it even easier to find what you’re looking for. And stacks — Dock items that give you fast access to a folder of files — are now scrollable, so you can easily view all items. You can also navigate through folders in a stack to see all the files inside it.

More reliable, higher-resolution iChat.

Having a video chat using iChat is more reliable and more accessible than ever in Snow Leopard.4 It includes technology to address many common router incompatibilities that can interfere with connections. And if iChat can’t make a direct connection, it will use the AIM relay server to create a successful chat session.

Now more people can have high-resolution, 640-by-480-pixel video chats, because the technical requirements are less demanding: You need only one-third the upstream bandwidth previously required — 300 Kbps instead of 900 Kbps. And finally, iChat Theater now offers 640-by-480 resolution, four times greater than before.

Lets set this straight! Snow Leopard is friggen sweet!

Faster, more powerful Safari.

Safari 4 is the latest version of the blazing-fast web browser. It renders web pages at high speed and delivers a range of new features, including full history search, smart address and search fields, an innovative way to display your top sites, industry-leading support for web standards, and more.

With Snow Leopard, Safari 4 delivers up to 50 percent faster JavaScript performance thanks to its 64-bit support.6 In addition, Safari is even more resistant to crashes. It turns out that the number one cause of crashes in Mac OS X is browser plug-ins. So Apple engineers redesigned Safari to make plug-ins run separately. If a plug-in crashes on a web page, Safari will keep running.

All the information above is from here.

Unique Clocks and Timepieces.

“Digital clock: only figures, no case, only the necessary – only accurate time. Each figure has self-contained power supply and independent control, it can be fixed to any surface autonomously. A light sensor will switch the clock to an invert mode: the figures are white in the dark time of day and black at daytime.”

USB Washing Machine Alarm Clock, Pretty unique clock, I need a washing machine, and a clock...

Vanden Flip Clock, This clock is awesome! It reminds me of fuse of some sort.

This clock is nuts! to bad it's photoshopped!

NEW Monster Nitrous Oxide Energy Drinks.

There's buzz going around about Monster's new line of nitrous oxide injected energy beverages.
Unlike normals soft drinks that get their fizz from infused carbon dioxide alone, Monster's new brew sports features and ingredients never used before in energy drinks. These three tasty flavors get their fizzle and pop from a combination of carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide injection.

These three NEW flavors are in a new Rexam re-sealable cans, Killer-B, Super Dry and Anti-Gravity. Each of these 12oz flavors has an "energy blend" of 5000mg, 2x of the 16oz.

"Killer-B contains honey and provides the drinker with a mega-shot of B vitamins as well as an exotic dose of bee pollen and royal jelly. Super Dry offers a lighter, dry texture similar to fine Champagne. Anti-Gravity is so potent that drinkers will feel like they can defy gravity."

Nitrous oxide boasts a rich, creamy, and smooth texture, making the drink lighter in taste and calories. Additionally, In clinical studies, ingestion of the gas provided mild effects that lasted a minute or less before dissipating. Some of the reported effects were, disorientation (spatial & time-based), deeper mental connections, and "pulsating" auditory & visual hallucinations. Though, I will have to say that from my experience with the drinks these effects, if any, are extremely mild.

They sure do give you a strong boost, all while tasting great.
What do you think of them?

Hulu's Standalone Player for Mac OS X!

Basic Jist Click Here to Download

"Hulu Desktop is a lean-back viewing experience for your personal computer. It features a sleek new look that's optimized for use with standard Windows Media Center remote controls or Apple remote controls, allowing you to navigate Hulu's entire library with just six buttons. For users without remotes, the application is keyboard and mouse-enabled. Hulu Desktop is a downloadable application and will work on PCs and Macs. It will initially launch as a beta product during which we plan to gather and incorporate user feedback to improve the service."

The main reason why I downloaded this application is beacause when you run two monitors off any Mac as soon as you have the show fullscreen in one monitor and decide to click back into the other monitor to multitask, the original fullscreened monitor goes back to being just a web page, not fullscreen. It's very annoying and I'm sure some other people have run into this problem as well. So to make everything all better you can download the program and still watch fullscreened shows on one monitor and say run photoshop on the other. When I found this out It made multitasking extraordinarily better.
Hope It helps someone out there, if it did please comment.
