1,000,000 FPS Slow Motion Video of Bullet Impacts!

You have got to watch this video, It's truly breath taking.
The shear power of a little piece of metal shot out of a barrel.
In the video they even shoot a bullet with a bullet from a 90* angle!
To have that kind of control and precision timing is unbelievable.
Let me know If you enjoyed It.

The Facts! iPhone 3GS vs G1 Android vs Blackberry Storm.

Notice I didn't post subjective features like "has a qwerty keyboard", or "has one giant clicky button screen" because that's just user preference. What I posted below is raw data, you can't say "I like having less RAM" know what I mean.

All this proves is that the 3GS is better in almost every category listed. Having a faster cpu and more ram allows it to perform faster with larger more complex software running. It's lighter and smaller than the competition, even with the largest screen.

Port, Polished, Decked, Pressure & stress tested, Polished Combustion Chamber Domes.

I had my head all cleaned up and Port, Polished, Decked, Pressure & stress tested, Polished Combustion Chamber Domes.

All the work was done by my friend, He does great work.
It should add more than like 40+ hp, Atleast thats what we're expecting.
The intake ports are perfectly matched. They are nice and rough (to keep fuel from sticking to the sides. The casting marks are all gone which makes the air flow smoother.
The head was decked, A nice flat surface to mate the block to.
Polished combustion domes reduce the chances of having a hot spot, which leads to detonation.
The exhaust ports were only slightly ported to keep exhaust velocity high, and they are mirror polished. Oh, the valves we lapped also.
heres some pics:

Hyundai Genesis & Herb Chambers.

Today my buddies and I went to Herb Chambers of Auburn Mass to test drive a Hyundai Genesis.
We wanted to test drive the 2 liter turbo one but it wasn't going to be as easy as we thought it would be. I snapped some pictures of the car, the Brembo brakes and the size of the rotors were impressive. The interior was nice... it has gone the way of most cars with lots of plastic and gaudy chrome accents. The leather/cloth seats were actually very nice and comfortable, all power at that.

Anyway, we wanted to test drive it and the salesmen there just weren't going to have it.
They were comparing the Genesis to a Viper and how they can't let every Tom Dick and Harry test drive it. We basically said you're all retarded and your Hyundai isn't remotely close to a Viper, good day Sir. I said Good day!

We plan to get to a better dealership in the next week to test drive one before I slander the Genesis anymore than I have. It's a Hyundai! The only upside to the 2 liter turbo is that I hear it's a detuned EVO engine. The cars visual styling isn't all that amazing but for the modest sum of money they are going for it is expected.

Future Plans to Host DigitalAddict on a Home Server.

Since the launch of Digital Addict I’ve been looking into how websites are hosted, who hosts them and the average price to have space on a server. I have been looking around the interwebs and found plenty of sits that allow inexpensive hosting. I’ve also found hosts that have every option in the book available for premium loot $$$.

DA (DigitalAddict) Isn’t a huge site right now... but I plan to grow it larger. I’d like to implement features like membership and personal profile pages, a message board, a live chatroom, possibly DigitalAddict gear like t-shirts and mouse pads, who knows.

I’ve been looking at mostly going the Apache server route. It’s free open source software that allows you to convert any computer hooked up to the web to be a server. This would be a great route, depending on the computers capabilities, to have control of your own server and not be at the mercy of some third party server.

While looking around I found an Interesting article about using your iPhone as a web server! Now the size of the site that you could possible host would be pretty small and to keep it functional wouldn’t consist of anything more than some text and maybe some emotioncons. Though the iPhone server wouldn’t really be practical for what I’m aspiring to create, it is still a cool option that I plan to host something off my phone. At&t hates me already since my iPhone is hacked and I use my “unlimited” internet access tethered to my laptop all the time, stealing some more bandwidth from them would be pretty cool.

Now for a more practical idea. I’ve noticed a trend with hosting were the server is a Mac Mini. Being an Apple fan, when I saw this was possible and actually really easy to setup. I began fantasizing about having an intel based mac mini with about 500gb and 2-4gb ram. not stopping there though, the thought of having an iOmega 2Tb mini drive stacked on top of the mini.... an Apple Airport Extreme. Since they all have the same footprint a tower of them would take up less space than any pc tower.
